Sexual abuse, also referred to as molestation, is forcing undesired sexual behavior by one person upon another. The offender is referred to as a sexual abuser or molester. This is not sexual harassment and we do not accept cases involving workplace harassment. Most of the cases we handle involve a child victim and a claim against the molester and the molesters employer.
Sexual molestation cases involve the inappropriate actions of an adult with a minor. Often the despicable activities are associated with a person in a position of trust that is improperly trained, supervised, or has a background that was not properly checked by his employer. The claim is then brought against the employer. These claims are different that sexual harassment claims which this office does not handle.
